Hair removal is big business in the beauty industry, and provides many salons and
spas with their chief source of income. In recent times, the beauty industry has seen
the arrival of lasers and IPL systems for hair removal and hair reduction.
However, these methods are not always suitable for all clients, for reasons such as medical problems, contra-indications, lack of pigment in the hair that is being treated and the financial costs involved.
As a result, there is definitely a place and, indeed, a need for traditional hair removal techniques such as sugaring, threading, hot and warm waxing and various types of electrolysis.
